Is My System Protected In A Secure Place?
Cloud400™ Is Bomb Proof. Literally.
Located in a former bank vault in downtown Minneapolis and surrounded by 21” of steel and concrete, the 5,000 sq. ft. Implex “Data Safe” is a best-in-class SSAE 16 data center facility. Designed and equipped with secured access, redundant power feeds, fast, multi-honed, multi-carrier access to the internet backbone, and sophisticated environmental controls. All routers, switches, servers, UPSs and environmental equipment are physically located in the Implex “Data Safe”.
Is Cloud400™ Safe?
First, to keep your data protected, OS400 is one of the most secure operating systems on the planet and incorporates DOD (Department of Defense) security. OS400 V7R1 even offers file encryption on the disk.
Second, your VPN (Virtual Private Network) access is securely encrypted to protect your connection between your users and Cloud400™.
Who’s Watching After My System?
OS400 Fanatics. Our Cloud400™ techs have been working on OS400 since it was introduced in 1988. That’s well over 20 years field experience.
In fact, a few have been working on the AS400 predecessor, the IBM System/38, since it was introduced in 1979.
More importantly, they have real-world, hands-on experience with supporting and integrating OS400 with other platforms and technologies for small-to-medium businesses. While they have supported clients with monster mainframe-like servers with 1,000+ users, the majority of our clients have single iSeries (AS400) with 5-200 users.
Here’s the point. We are geared up to effectively support small-to-medium iSeries users with limited financial and IT resources.
What Is My Workstation Response Time Like?
You may actually see faster response because the Cloud400™ server is dramatically faster so your interactive jobs will execute way faster. For example, you may see a 1 hour job complete in 10 minutes and interactive response is NOT constrained by 25 70 CPW like most legacy AS400s.
What If I Lose Connection To The Web?
We recommend that you have backup web access in case your primary carrier temporarily drops service.
